Domestic demand for natural gas in 2013 amounted to 70,087 million cubic meters, a decrease of 6.5% on the previous year.

The contraction in consumption for thermal generation, essentially the result of lower generation volumes, was compounded by a decrease in consumption for domestic and civil uses, attributable to the impact of colder weather in 2012.
